Premier League Game Week 2 Predictions and Tips

After an exciting first Game Week 1, we move on to another complete set of Premier League fixtures. All eyes will be on Chelsea’s clash against Tottenham on Sunday. With Liverpool and Manchester City overwhelming favourites to claim home wins. While Arsenal are likely to be a popular accumulator pick this weekend.

SATURDAY 13TH AUGUST

Aston Villa 12:30 Everton

Aston Villa are strong favourites to win although their performance wasn’t convincing at the Vitality Stadium last weekend. Steven Gerrard’s side will hope for an improvement against an Everton side who competed hard against Chelsea in their opener. Frank Lampard will want his team to be defensively organised and we see this being a cagey encounter. This may be a fixture that you consider using other betting features such as Cash Out. William Hill cash out is an easy to use feature which other bookmakers also provide.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: Under 2.5 Goals

Arsenal 15:00 Leicester City

Leicester City demonstrated both sides of the coin when racing into a 2-0 lead over Brentford. Only to draw against the Bees come the final whistle. The Foxes are bound to show attacking intent at the Emirates Stadium. Although they’ll clash with a Gunners side for whom Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli look electric. Expect the Brazilian duo to get their team over the line here.

Brighton & Hove Albion 15:00 Newcastle United

Both sides produced accomplished performances to earn three points in their respective openers. With Brighton claiming a 2-1 win at Old Trafford although they are still short of firepower. Newcastle beat Nottingham Forest fairly comfortably and we can see a close encounter at the AMEX Stadium, with the draw offering best value of all. Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: Draw

Manchester City 15:00 AFC Bournemouth

Manchester City are very short to beat their newly-promoted opponents and we might see the floodgates open. ErlingHaaland didn’t get much change out of the West Ham defence but the Norwegian has the potential to be rampant against a Cherries side who earned a 2-0 opening victory over Aston Villa. Back City to cover the line and win by a comfortable margin. If you are looking to learn about other sports why not read our Cricket betting or Esports betting guides.

Southampton 15:00 Leeds United

Leeds might have won against Wolves last weekend although it was a clash that could have gone either way. Jesse Marsch will look for his team to play on the front foot at St Mary’s, with Southampton probably needing to score two or three goals in order to win a Premier League match. It all points to both teams finding the net here. We recommend using one of the Skybet accumulator bets as they are pretty simple to use.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: BTTS Yes

Wolverhampton Wanderers 15:00 Fulham

It’s worth taking a chance that Fulham are able to produce another high level performance at Molineux. They could easily have beaten Liverpool FC last weekend and we’re sure to see Andreas Pereira and Aleksandar Mitrovic causing problems for a Wolves team who have reverted to a back four this season. After an opening defeat against Leeds, let’s get with the visitors here.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: Fulham Draw No Bet

Brentford 17:30 Manchester United

We can only presume that betting customers continue to blindly back Manchester United in their droves. That can be the only explanation for why the Red Devils are trading so short for a tough assignment at the Brentford Community Stadium. The game may not be one to add into your accumulator odds bet this weekend, unless you are looking for a Draw. The Bees came from two goals down at the King Power Stadium and Ivan Toney will relish the chance to pit himself against a defence that creaked against Brighton.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: Brentford Draw No Bet

SUNDAY 14TH AUGUST

Nottingham Forest 14:00 West Ham United

Forest play their first match at the City Ground since returning to the Premier League and we’re sure to see an attacking approach from Steve Cooper’s side. The Midlands side weren’t able to lay a glove on Newcastle last weekend but might have more joy against a West Ham side who will be looking to get amongst the goals themselves after drawing a blank against Manchester City. This bet may be worth considering taking outan extra bet feature such as the PaddyPower acca insurance.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: BTTS Yes

Chelsea 16:30 Tottenham Hotspur

Thomas Tuchel will be aware of the attacking threat posed by an improved Tottenham teamand we might see Chelsea batten down the hatches in this clash. They were able to claim a clean sheet at Everton last weekend, with KalidouKoulibaly now hoping to tame Harry Kane although the threat could come from DejanKulusevski. We’re expecting a cagey encounter on the whole, just wish we could publish on our VR Veer page. 🙂

MONDAY 15TH AUGUST

Liverpool 20:00 Crystal Palace

Jurgen Klopp was dismayed by his team’s stuttering performance at Craven Cottage before Liverpool somehow conspired to land a point against Fulham. It’s virtually certain that we’ll see an improved performance against a Crystal Palace who caused a few problems for Arsenal in their opener, although we’re expecting the Eagles to be low on possession and shots on target. There are going to be lots of Premier League accumulators featuring the top teams this weekend. With Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal likely to operate in a number of multiples. Meanwhile, many customers will look to place a Bet Builder on the Chelsea v Tottenham clash which is the pick of the bunch. Follow the latest Football betting news with the WhatAcca.com blog.
