Premier League Antepost Betting Tips everyone should know

The 2022-23 Premier League fixtures have now been announced! It’s time that the team at WhatAcca.com started to put together a few antepost betting tips for the new season.

Although there are still several weeks until the action gets going, the leading football betting sites have created a number of Premier League outright betting markets. And we have run the rule over markets such as Winner, Top Scorer and Relegation in order to see where the value might lie.

There is going to be lots of transfer activity between now and the start of the season. Although we have enough knowledge to put together some provisional thoughts on how we see the 2022-23 campaign panning out.

Premier League Outright Winner – Manchester City @ 8/13

man city premier league winners

This might be a predictable choice although Manchester City have won the Premier League title in four of the past five seasons. Pep Guardiola has completely transformed the fortunes of a football club. Who had previously won the title under Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini. Although the Spaniard has truly made them the best team in the land.

City will go into bat with a new gunslinger in town. Erling Haaland arrives with a hefty price tag but also a glowing reputation for scoring hatful’s of goals. The Norwegian will lead the line for a team who were able to pip Liverpool last season. We think that the reigning champions can be included in lots of antepost multiple and accumulator bets. Liverpool are next in the betting and they have a marquee signing of their own in the form of Darwin Nunez. We will see the Reds challenging hard for major honours after coming relatively close to a quadruple last term. Although Sadio Mane’s departure can’t be seen as a positive. And the form of Mohamed Salah towards the end of the previous campaign was a concern.

    Top 4 hard to choose

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur come next in the betting. It’s possible that the latter will leapfrog their London rivals and become the main challenger from the capital. Antonio Conte didn’t take long to resurrect the fortunes of Spurs. With Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min now looking settled and the arrival of Yves Bissouma is an eye-catching one.

Manchester United are likely to need time to get their act together under Erik ten Hag. Even if the Dutchman can count on the services of Cristiano Ronaldo for another year. While Arsenal might continue to be a team in the making under Mikel Arteta.

Premier League Top Scorer – Harry Kane @ 7/1, Callum Wilson @ 50/1

Erling Haaland has leapt to the head of the Premier League top scorer market after his big money move from Borussia Dortmund. With the 22-year-old likely to fill his boots for Manchester City. Although don’t be surprised if the striker is subjected to a reasonable amount of rotation and that’s particularly expected when the Champions League starts up.

Similarly, Mohamed Salah might not always feature in a team where Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and new boy Darwin Nunez are viable options. With Harry Kane potentially a forward who can outscore the front two in the betting market. And the Englishman will be highly motivated from the moment the season starts.

We know how good Kane is on penalty kicks and will be playing for a strong Spurs team under a brilliant manager. While the England captain has previously won the top scorer award in the Premier League.

At a bigger price, we think Callum Wilson could prove to be a decent each-way wager for a Newcastle team who are surely on an upward trajectory. The former Bournemouth forward has had more than his fair share of injury problems. Although a fit Wilson is someone who can score goals on a regular basis.

We think that Eddie Howe will know how to get the best out of a player who still has a sniff of making the England squad for the 2022 World Cup. And it would be no surprise if this Newcastle team were free-scoring next term considering the investment that has gone into the squad. Our team of editors have put together a Premier League betting guide, packed with useful statistics and tips.

      Premier League Relegation – Wolves @ 6/1

You won’t get rich backing the likes of Nottingham Forest or Bournemouth to be relegated. Although Wolverhampton Wanderers stick out at a much bigger price. Bruno Lage initially did well with Wolves in the early months of the previous campaign. Although the Midlands side dropped down the standings as the campaign wore on.

There continues to be an over-reliance on Raul Jimenez for goals. The departure of Ruben Neves robs the team of creativity. While the predicted improvement of Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle means that Wolves might automatically be shunted down the pecking order and into trouble.

Providing that the promoted teams are able to give a good account of themselves. Then betting odds of 6/1 could make plenty of appeal. With Fulham potentially capable of finishing outside the bottom three and Nottingham Forest capturing the likes of Dean Henderson on loan, Wanderers are vulnerable.
