The 2018 World Cup is upon us. For this year’s competition I’ve decided to do things a little differently and create a sort of HUB page for all my 2018 World Cup betting tips.
On here you’re going to find a series of pre-tournament bets and also my daily bets. As the games come thick and fast to start, I’m going to be able to make daily doubles and trebles, but as they thin out towards the back end, I may need to group in order to create better value bets.
One of the things I’ve been keen to work on throughout this World Cup is consistency. I want to get daily bets out, so I will likely be posting bets up on the morning and then emailing out to my mailing list.
If you aren’t on the mailing list, then it’s likely that this is going to be the best place to easily see when I update this page. You can sign up totally free below and receive the very same bets that I place. There are over 7,000 of us on the list now, so it’s more of a community than anything.
As ever, I like to keep track of my record, so I will be starting a fresh to see how the 2018 World Cup gets on for me. Below, you can see how we are doing?
There’s going to be a lot of promotions and offers kicking about as we get closer and into the World Cup. Some, as ever will be better than others.
For me, I feel as though as the value will always be in the welcome offer and more often than not, the ones that have been running the longest. But, it’s important to make sure that the bookie you are signing up with, fits what you need from that bookmaker.
There are 2 that I will be using extensively for my bets and likely jumping between both depending on who’s best.
#1 Bookmaker- bet365
Bet365 will be my HUB for this year’s coemption. I’ve used them for years now and they never let me down. It’s where I keep a good chunk of my bankroll as well, so it works out well for any larger bets that I may want to add.
Here’s why you might want to sign up…
- For me, their £100 in bet credits welcome offer is one of the best value promotions that you can find (T’s and C’s above)
- They offer a great range of markets that suit my eye, including a plethora of goals and handicap markets, which are an important part of my strategy and will be used extensively throughout this World Cup
- Their mobile betting app is one of the best looking in my opinion as well. Because of the time of some of the games, I will almost definitely be needing to bet on the go at some point, so this is important
#2 bookmaker – BetVictor
BetVictor will be my other bookmaker and for many of the same reasons that I like to use bet365 to be honest. They’re a huge brand and one that I trust, so it’s easy for me utilise them as my second bookmaker for the World Cup.
Here’s some reason why you might want to sign up….
- Probably the best priced bookie in the industry. I consistently find them to offer great odds for accumulator bets.
- A strong range of markets, although for me, a little more limited than bet365
- Great sign up offer of Bet £10, Get £30, which offers one of the biggest mark ups from deposit to bonus that you can get. (T’s and C’s above)
2018 World Cup Betting Tips
This is the section you’ve all been waiting for, right?
So, I decided that I’, going to place a number of pre-tournament bets as well as bets throughout the World Cup. The first place to start is the outright winner.
The obvious choices for this are both Brazil and Germany, who are pretty much joint favourites. Both have strong sides and know how to win.
But, I’m moving outside the box and my 2018 World Cup outright winner prediction is that of Argentina.
I think they have the strongest front line in the tournament, with the likes of Messi and Aguero up top, plus Higuain to come on if needed or possibly start all three? Also, I think the price of 10.00 is too big for a team that has one of the greatest players of all time.
Messi, it has to be said, probably hasn’t done it on an international stage like he has at club level, so I think the whole team will be geared towards getting it won for him as much as anything.
I also think that all the other teams have just as many flaws as Argentina. Brazil will be massively reliant on Neymar, Germany are solid, but without that real superstar for me, similar story for Spain and France are massively unpredictable, which does make them dangerous.
