Our 11/2 World Cup Group 2026 Accumulator 

The 2026 World Cup is just around the corner and we’re keen to have some interest in the group stage. For the first time in the history of the tournament, there are twelve different groups and a perfect opportunity to place an acca on the action.

The World Cup starts on 11 June and runs through to 19 July. There are lots of teams operating at short odds to win their group. We think some of these are worth taking. Below we have outlined our selections for our group accumulator along with the cumulative odds for the picks.

GROUP A: Mexico to win

The co-hosts look well-equipped to have a deep run at the World Cup. El Tri should be able to make home advantage count and their 2026 form has been eye-catching. Goalless draws against Portugal and Belgium should steel the Mexicans for tests against South Africa, South Korea and Czech Republic. 

GROUP E: Germany to win

No prizes for originality although Germany look a rock solid pick to win Group E. It’s less to do with the strength of Die Mannschaft and more down to the other three sides in the group. Julian Nagelsmann’s side have been handed a hugely winnable clash against Curacao and will then meet Ivory Coast and Ecuador. 

GROUP G: Belgium to win

The Red Devils bombed out of the 2022 World Cup at the group stage but we’re not expecting the same thing here. Rudi Garcia’s men are high-scoring and Napoli pair Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku can help them to go deep. We’re anticipating an opening win against Egypt before racking up more points over Iran and New Zealand.

GROUP I: France to win

Senegal and Norway make this group interesting but there’s no denying that France are on another level. Les Bleus are dripping with attacking talent and their recent World Cup pedigree is excellent. Having won in 2018, they then navigated their way to the 2022 final. Didier Deschamps’ side should be able to get over the line with a game to spare.

GROUP J: Argentina to win

Argentina are the current champions of the world and should cruise through this section. Algeria, Austria and Jordan are the other three sides in the group, with the former two likely to battle it out for the runner-up spot. Lionel Scaloni continues to steer the ship and Lionel Messi will be driving the team forward.
