Floyd Mayweather Massive Favourite to Beat Logan Paul

Mayweather clashes with Paul in a big money exhibition on Sunday night, with the bookies making the five-weight world champion a huge favourite.

It’s a highly-anticipated fight that has caused plenty of division within the boxing world, with the legendary Floyd Mayweather clashing in the ring with Logan Paul. The latter is one of the world’s biggest YouTube stars and the boxing match takes place in Miami on Sunday 6 June, with millions set to tune in around the world to witness this sporting contest.

Mayweather Huge Betting Favourite to Beat Paul

It’s hardly a surprise to find Floyd Mayweather trading as the massive odds-on betting favourite to claim a victory, with the man known as “Money” currently a best price 1/7 to secure a win in this exhibition, with the fight having originally been scheduled for 20 February 2021 before the COVID-19 pandemic prevented it going ahead.

Now the fight is scheduled to take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, with this bout in Florida taking place in front of a packed crowd, with huge sums of money changing hands in order for spectators to attend an event like none other before.

Can Mayweather Repeat First Round Knockout Against Nasukawa?

Floyd Mayweather is no stranger to exhibition fights after previously meeting Tenshin Nasukawa, with this being a three-round bout that took place in November 2018, with the boxer taking out the Japanese kickboxer on a technical knockout within the first round of this much-hyped fight.

Logan Paul is regarded as the fairly big betting outsider to win this fight, with the 26-year-old having broken all kinds of YouTube records and his official YouTube channel has nearly 23 million subscribers, while it has enjoyed an amazing 5.71 billion views.

Some bookies go as short as 4/1 that Paul wins this fight although the best betting odds about someone who has only been involved in one professional boxing match and that took place against British YouTuber KSI following the draw that had taken place when the two boxers had met on amateur terms.

Paul’s Trash Talk Could See Mayweather Aim For Quick Win

Logan Paul’s social media jibing was seen as the catalyst that kickstarted the fight between these two contenders, although Floyd Mayweather claims that the event was all his idea as he looks to create maximum publicity events which command huge fees in box office TV subscriptions.

Paul said: “If I caught Floyd with one punch, one punch? I would snap [him] in half. I am eight inches taller. I am 40lb heavier.”

The bookies offer betting odds of 5/1 that Mayweather wins this fight in the first round and there’s the possibility that we’ll see the clash last eight rounds, although the shortest odds are the 9/4 that Money wins on points and it will surely be the case that he toys with his YouTuber opponent before potentially landing the killer blow.

Our Betting Tip

We have had great form picking out winners in the big box office bouts but there isn’t much to be gained here as it’s such a one sided affair.

Anyone who knows boxing will say Mayweather wins without breaking a sweat.

You can’t deny the little mans boxing talents. Logan Paul on the other hand is an out and out brawler with big punch. This is dangerous, even though the experts don’t think he has a chance of landing one.

Unless you are planning to go big on Mayweather, we think a cheeky fiver on Logan Paul is the value at 11/2.

Due to the change in fight rules, we have a 2 way market only and no judges.

Or pass on this completely and just watch for fun – We always have our football tips ready for you and Euro 2020 is right around the corner.
