How to place an accumulator bet on BetVictor

BetVictor was actually one of the first betting accounts I ever opened, but back in those days they were known as Victor Chandler. They are still easily one of the best sites around for accumulator bets and this is why they made my top six.

I will be talking you through how to place an accumulator bet with BetVictor as part of my ongoing ‘How To’ series on What Acca?

Quick step-by-step guide:

1) Before you do anything, you’re going to need to create an account with BetVictor. By clicking the kink below you will be able to create your account

2) Once you’ve registered your account you will need to make sure it’s funded. You can do this by clicking the ‘deposit’ button at the top of the screen.

3) Select your market then simply add selections to your betting slip by clicking the odds from that market.

4) Your selections will appear in the bet slip, whilst below will be a box named ‘accumulator’. This will show you how many selections you have made and the odds you will get for your bet. Simply enter your stake amount in the box and click place bet.

Where to start

Before you go any further you will need to have a funded Bet Victor account. Remember that you can use Bet Victor on either your mobile or PC device, each with equally positive results. My BetVictor review will give you more information on how to set your account up.

Probably the best for promotions

My affiliation with BetVictor as a punter now spans over a decade and throughout that time they are easily one of the best for offering both new and returning players a wide range of bonuses.

In this time I’ve found many bookmakers being increasingly inconsistent with their lack of promotions for already registered players. New accounts can take a hat full of options when they sign up, but BetVictor have always been one site that seem to buck that trend.

Yes, the new player offers are still there, but every so often they serve up an existing account offer. A recent promotion they were running was place a 5-fold over the course of the weekend and if just one result lets you down then they will refund your stake up to £25.

I’m digressing a little, so I will direct you to my BetVictor review for more information on everything to do with placing accumulators with the company.

Navigate to sport, then pick away

After signing into your account you will then need to navigate to the sport of your choice. These can all be found down the left hand side of the ‘Sports’ section.

A handy feature on the site, for me at least, is the ‘Top Links’ section where you can stay up to date on any current promotions and also popular markets at the time.

Once you have selected your sports – I will be using Football for my examples – you will then be taken to sort of HUB page. On this HUB you can navigate between a host of recommended markets or simply dig a little deeper to find the exact market you want. Most sports will include quick tabs that allow you to see overviews of games that are either in-running or coming up, which I find really handy.

Making your selections is really simple. The odds will be displayed in three columns labelled 1, X and 2. 1 means home win, X means Draw and 2 Means away win. All you do is click the odds you want and they will be added into your bet slip on the right hand side of the page.

If you add a selection by mistake, do not panic, simply click on the ‘X’ which is marked in the far right corner of your selection within the bet slip. This will remove each individually or you can click ‘Remove all’ at the bottom of the bet slip to clear it completely.

Placing the accumulator bet

As you continue to make your selections, you will notice that just below the bet slip will be a ‘Multiples’ tab that keeps refreshing and expanding with every selection you make. This is where we will be placing our bet.

First thing you will want to do is find out the odds of your accumulator. This is probably one of the few downsides of the BetVictor site as you need to enter your sake before it shows you your returns.

The box we are looking out for is clearly marked ‘Accumulator’ and will have a number within two brackets which is the amount of selections you have included along with number of bets, which will always be 1.

By just typing ‘1’ into the box you can see your potential returns from your stake at the bottom.  This number will be the odds you are getting as well. Once you are happy, go back into the stake box and enter the amount in which you wish to wager.

All that’s left to do is click the green ‘Place Bets Now’ button and your bet will be placed.

Additional information

Once your bet has been placed you can then keep track of it at the ‘My Bets’ tab found at the top of the page. Here you can check all open and settled bets from your account.
