World Cup Qualifiers Europe Group Stage Day 6 Betting Tips

Welcome to the World Cup Qualifiers Europe Betting Tips from WhatAcca.com – Day 6

We have one final round of European World Cup qualifying matches this week. With the UEFA countries getting an opportunity to land more precious points in a bid to land a spot at the 2022 World Cup. The World Cup group standings are all taking shape and we have put together some betting predictions.  As well as some tips when it comes to the big games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

WC Quals TUESDAY 7 SEPTEMBER

Republic of Ireland 19:45 Serbia

The Republic are having a miserable time of things in qualifying. Having lost the lead in Portugal and then only mustering a 1-1 draw against Azerbaijan thanks to a late Shane Duffy equaliser. However, Stephen Kenny’s side did find the net in both matches and can do the same against an attack-minded Serbia team.  Who are matching Ireland stride for stride at the moment. The best option is therefore both teams to score.

France 19:45 Finland

France have been looking fairly ordinary in recent matches, with Les Bleus having to come from behind to draw against Bosnia and Ukraine.  Although Didier Deschamps’ side are still in the box seat when it comes to qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.  We think another low-scoring game could be on the cards against a defensively-minded Finland side who enjoyed a 1-0 win over Kazakhstan a few days ago.

Austria 19:45 Scotland

Austria might have reached the last sixteen stage of Euro 2020, although they are a defensively frail team who were beaten 5-2 by Israel.  Scotland will feel confident of building on their win over Moldova a few days ago. Steve Clarke’s side can create chances against a side who lost 4-0 at home to Denmark at the beginning of the campaign.

Netherlands 19:45 Turkey

Things are looking pretty tight in UEFA Group G, although Netherlands can make strides towards top spot by overcoming Turkey at the Johan Cruyff Arena. With the Dutch having recently put Montenegro to the sword by winning 4-0. Virgil van Dijk simply makes the team that much stronger defensively.  With the Turks unlikely to engineer a positive result considering they were held to a 2-2 draw by Montenegro recently. WEDNESDAY 8 SEPTEMBER

Northern Ireland 19:45 Switzerland

Backing Under 2.5 Goals seems to go with the territory where Northern Ireland are concerned.  With a 4-1 win away to Lithuania the only time where Ian Baraclough’s side have been able to take off the handbrake.  They will adopt a safety-first approach against a Swiss side who recently landed a goalless draw against Italy. Check out the World Cup qualifiying table here.

Poland 19:45 England

England are making a name for themselves as one of the leading football nations in the worl.  They’ll feel confident of overpowering a Poland side who are five points behind them in the group standings. While the Poles enjoyed big wins over Albania and San Marino, they were unable to keep a clean sheet in either game and could be vulnerable to the trickery of Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish in this one.
