    Who am I?

Before I go any further, let me introduce myself. I’m Jon and I own, run and maintain What Acca, a dedicated betting portal for people wanting to learn and essentially make more money from accumulator betting.

I’ll be honest and say that I started out as that weekend warrior, placing a random £10 accumulator bet on some sketchy 12-fold that would bank me several thousands of pounds if it came in.

    But it never did!

I decided a few years ago that instead of wasting money each week, I was going to spend the time to improve how I make my selections. The information that I learned and the processes that I tried enabled me to pretty much stop setting £10 alight every week, to making a more than tidy ‘second’ income each month from my accumulator bets.

I’m not going to go into too much detail in this article about how I make my selections, as there are dozens of articles throughout the site, but what I will say is that my approach is far from ground breaking. I’ve simply managed to fill in the defects that were initially holding me back, whilst maximising the things that I was doing well.

In turn, this makes for a much more profitable betting strategy!

Why would you want to get free accumulator tips from me?

With so many people offering accumulator tips, it begs the question, why me?

Well, for one I actually make the selections that I send out with each email. I sometimes post the screen shot of the bet on my Twitter feed, just to prove that I’m with you! I’m not going to invest my hard earned money into an accumulator bet that I think is going to lose… it’s as simple as that.

Secondly, and probably more importantly, I actually win from my acca tips. Anyone can go out and shout about betting tips, but the hard part is getting them to prove their track record.

How do I get free acca tips?

To get my accumulator betting tips for free is a very simple process.

Simply enter your name and email address in the box at the top of this page or just beneath. You’ll then get a confirmation sent to your inbox. You will need to click the link to confirm your subscription (this is essentially in place to make sure you aren’t a robot). The process is automated so it should be with you within a couple of minutes. If you cant find the confirmation email then check your ‘Spam/Junk’ folders.

Once you are in, you will receive your first welcome email before then receiving tips throughout the week.

If you need any help or have a question, just reply to the welcome email and I’ll happily get back to you.

    FAQ

These are answers to some questions that you might have before you subscribe.

What sports and markets do you target?

The majority of my tips are based on football (soccer). In fact, I’d say that 95% of my tips are football to be honest. Why? Well, football is what I know. I grew up playing it, watching and it’s been a way of life since I was very young.

I like to stick with sports that I know and whilst I play a lot of sports personally, betting on football has easily been my most profitable sports bet.

I like to mix the markets up each week. The most common markets are the Win-Draw-Win, Both Teams To Score, Over/Under 2.5 Goals and the Asian Handicap.

Which market I pick will generally depend on the quality of games on offer. I start my betting process by checking out the W-D-W markets to see if anything catches my eye. If so, I’ll tend to add them in. If not, I will look at the other 3 and see if an acca can be made.

One thing that I don’t do is simply place an acca for the sake of doing so. I get emails everyday from people asking me to send them an acca for that specific day, but if I haven’t sent out one via my email, then it’s because I don’t think there are strong enough games to do so.

How can I make my own selections?

One thing that many people don’t understand is that I’m not necessarily asking you to make the same bets I do. You can use them however you wish, be it as a guide or gospel, it doesn’t affect me in any way.

I give my perspective on the selections I send out via the research that I’ve done. And I would expect you to do the same!

It’s for that reason why What Acca was born to be honest. I’ve got dozens of articles on here that are designed to allow people to make better formed betting decisions for themselves. They address many different markets and even sports, but always give honest advice.

I’m not saying that they are blow-your-mind amazing, but I’d be surprised that even the most experienced better couldn’t take away at least one point to improve how they bet from each article.

Will I ever have to pay for your tips?

Absolutely not, never! I’ve no interest in setting up a paid platform and whilst others do, I think it then provides a huge amount of pressure on the tipsters to deliver, of which they can not guarantee.

    How often do you win?

This is possibly the most commonly asked question. And one that I simply cannot answer!

The tips that I send out are different than most. You’ll often find other tipsters send out some 5/1 4-fold bet, that whilst is lower variance than my bets, isn’t a going to win you a considerable sum of money. Learn more about odds accumulators here.

Looking back at my bets you’ll see that just about every single tip has been at odds of 20/1 and over. Personally, I place just £10 on each acca that I tip, so it’s not going to break the bank if I lose. But, it’s still going to have a relevant return if I win. That is the beauty of accumulator betting, it’s low outlay with high reward betting.

The manor of my bets means that I simply don’t win every week. That’s a guaranteed fact!

But, because of the time and research that I do invest in them, over the course of the season, I’m almost always in profit.

Let’s take the 2020/21 season as an example. From the season starting in August, right up to December, we had won just 1 acca from about 30 tips that I’d sent out. This was a particularly terrible start, I will grant you that.

That one acca just so happened to come in at 32/1, meaning that if you have placed £10 bets on each of my tips you’d have been about evens. 30 x£10 = £300 lost, 32/1 @ £10 winner = £320. £20 up, in fact!

In December we went on to win no fewer than 3 accas, amassing a profit of £950 from the same £10 bets! BOOOOM! It took a while, but we got there eventually.

The best thing about this is that presuming that we stick with the £10 bets, we are now nailed on to be up for the 2020/21 season given that there are only 15 game weeks left. Let’s assume at the top end I send out 5 accas a week (highly unlikely, more likely 3) that would cost us £750 total in bets, still leaving around £200 profit.

But, that is assuming that we don’t win any in that time! Which again, is unlikely given the previous track record.

Anyway, my point is that it’s impossible for me to predict how often I or the tips article win, but my track record shows that if you stick with me, you’re going to do well!

Do you send promotions in your accumulator tips emails?

In some of them, I do. But, I only send promotions if I think they will provide value to my subscribers. A typical example might Man City enhanced from 8/11 to 8/1 for new customers at Bet Victor, which I think is better than the majority of sign up offers out there.

I tend to keep them at a minimum though, although I know a lot of my subscribers to my accumulator tips emails do like to see them included.

What I will do on each email is highlight which bookmakers is best priced for that specific bet. With acca betting and especially at the odds brackets that I target, there can be a massive change from one bookmaker to the other, so I think this is an integral step for my readers.

    Can I unsubscribe?

Absolutely! In fact, in every email that I send out I include an unsubscribe button. I will say that I’ve had less than 1% of my subscribers unsubscribe in the last 12 months, which I am very proud of!

    I’m still not convinced…

The emails that are sent are completely free of charge and as I say, if you don’t like, you can unsubscribe with just one click. If you want to know more or want to chat more about my accumulator betting tips, then leave me a comment below or email me back on the Welcome email and I’ll be happy to help.

    Best,

I've made What Acca to try and help people starting out with accumulator betting. The possibilities of these types of bets are pretty much endless, with the major attraction coming from the fact that a lot of money can be won for very little outlay. What Acca will hopefully teach you how to make more profitable accumulator bets whilst also eradicating some of the mistakes that I have made over the years.
